CHAGA TEA

Chaga is the number one healing plant on Earth. It has been used as a remedy by Native Americans for years. It is powerful because it harnesses the strength, nutrients and longevity of living trees into a concentrated form, making chaga mushrooms one of the most powerful superfoods on Earth. Now that Spring is here my Grandson’s and I will head to the Woods in search of the Chaga mushroom on Birch trees. The benefits of this tea are over 200 phyto nutrients, abundant vitamins and minerals. I use a cheese grater and make the tea with a coffee filter in the coffee pot. Chaga can also be grated then ground to powder using a mortar and pestle. Chaga tea has a slight flavour of vanilla and the health benefits are bountiful. If your lucky enough to live in areas where these trees grow I suggest you go Chaga hunting, this is very expensive to purchase in Health Food Stores. Enjoy!
